Job Description
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect will be involved in all aspects of implementing Dynamics 365 F&O solutions from pre-sales work through the project life cycle to go-live and ongoing support. Your involvement with clients will include off-site and on-site work and you will be encouraged to develop your Dynamics knowledge and achieve relevant certifications. As a D365 technical lead/ architect you will be leading implementations on the D365 F&O products with many advanced tools and techniques. You will utilize standard implementation methodologies to deliver compelling solutions for our customers.
Job Requirements:
- Design and build D365 solutions.
- Oversee the technical design, architecture, and development processes with the implementation team.
- Utilize your knowledge of business processes and best practices to advise and guide the customer during pre-implementation consulting engagements such as Requirements Gathering, Fit Gap Assessments, Design and Configuration.
- Production of design, system, user, and procedural documentation
- Liaising with on-shore and off-shore development teams to deliver robust solutions on time.
- Design and execution of data migration strategies.
- Demonstrate the capacity to plan, prioritize and organize your time, project schedules, and multiple project activities.
- Identify and analyze risks and issues for the program or project portfolio in conjunction with project managers.
- Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications.
- Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
- Write development specifications and interface with customers to test modifications and resolve any issues that arise.
- Participate in data migrations, integrations, report design, and design of security.
- Delighting the customers with exceptional customer service
- Liaison with offshore teams for development and solution delivery.
Skillsets Required:
- 7+ years MS D365 F&O development experience including integrations & data migrations.
- 4+ years MS D365 F&O architecture design experience.
- Experience with designing microservices, Dynamics 365 workspaces, BYOD, data lake, etc.
- Understanding of some of the more complex technical topics in Dynamics AX including Application Integration Framework (AIF), Workflow, Enterprise Portal, Data Import, Reporting –MorphX, and version control.
- Experience with SQL Server SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS, Azure DevOps (pipelines, automate the build process, release management, deployment), PowerBI is a must.
- Enhance/ Customize Dynamics 365 F&O for customers based on their business requirements.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Flow, Power Apps)
- A deep understanding of the Microsoft Dataverse platform and other Azure integration technologies like LogicApps, Azure Functions is a must
- Knowledge in any Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or Retail modules.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Having strong D365 Commerce knowledge, including Retail SDK, POS customizations, and Commerce SDK.
- Understanding Payment SDK and building payment connectors would be a plus.
- Good listening skills, with the ability to quickly resolve problems, action solutions the ability to work under pressure.
- Being able to recognize and deal with conflict or sensitive situations.
