Carbon Reduction Plan

  • Overview

    We at Visionet sincerely believe that to address the global difficulties we face today, we must work together to promote sustainability and environmental protection. We understand our obligation as a global corporation to conduct business ethically to help lessen our carbon impact and advance a greener future. At Visionet, we focus on various things across all our business operations across the globe. 

  • Energy Efficiency

    i: We have switched to energy-efficient lighting alternatives in all our offices. 
    ii: Most of our offices have deployed energy-saving meters designed to support the effective distribution of electricity consumption. 
    iii: We use energy-efficient appliances and equipment and follow a battery-saving policy for all our IT devices. 
    iv: We have implemented a practice, which is now a habit for our employees, to turn off lights and equipment in meeting rooms and offices when not in use. 
    v: Motion detector lighting fixtures are installed in areas of less movement, to only be lit up when necessary.

  • Transportation

    Encourage efficient & optimized transport routes via company vehicles, on a shared basis, for any official travel to reduce fuel consumption & wastage.

  • Waste Management

    Reduce paper waste & single-use plastics and encourage reusable products in the workplace like reusable mugs, bottles, etc.

  • Paperless Operations

    i: We continually strive to minimize paper usage by using digital documents and communication. Most of our documentation for employees, suppliers, and customers is digitized. 
    ii: Wide usage of electronic signatures and digital filing systems has helped us reduce paper usage. 
    iii: Installed hand dryers in restrooms to avoid paper usage & wastage.

  • Water Conservation

    i: Installed Aerators to conserve water in certain facilities 
    ii: Monitor and fix any leaks and install water-efficient fixtures in restrooms and kitchens.

  • Remote Work and Virtual Meetings

    Encourage virtual meetings across geographies to reduce travel-related emissions.

  • Employee Engagement

    i: Encourage eco-friendly official mementos and gifts like plants with eco-friendly packaging 
    ii: Support & create an eco-friendly office environment

  • At Visionet, we constantly push our partners and teams to be more aware of sustainability efforts. We encourage them to get involved in both major and small ways, not just in the workplace but also with their families and friends. Families at Visionet have been inspired to participate in numerous projects to create a greener world in our Earth Day and related events. As a habit rather than a choice, we incorporate green ideas and methods into everything we do. 

    We are committed to positively impacting the environment, developing and implementing effective green practices and procedures as a rule, not as an exception. We are dedicated to reducing our company's carbon footprint and the amount of waste our company produces. 

    As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we have developed and are regularly implementing efficient green processes and procedures, not just when necessary. We are committed to decreasing our business's carbon impact and waste production.
