Challenges

Our client is a nationwide fashion retailer. They had been using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 as their ERP solution, which led to higher maintenance costs. The aging ERP platform also led to challenges while integrating their eCommerce store. They were also struggling with limited supply chain visibility and data accuracy issues. They required a unified data platform that would centralize channel management by providing robust support for omnichannel retail.

Solution

After a thorough analysis of front-office and back-office business processes, Visionet recommended the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to address the fashion brand’s business needs, including the centralization of business data, and the automation of supply chain management, pricing, and merchandising.

The implemented solution increased operational agility with real-time business intelligence and adaptable processes for sourcing, manufacturing, and shipment allocation.
AcuitySpark, Visionet’s retail-specific business intelligence solution for Dynamics 365, was implemented to provide 360° visibility into customer behavior and sales performance. We used prebuilt tax localization packs to ensure regional compliance. Other integrations included the client’s eCommerce platform, point-of-sale (POS), advanced warehouse management solution, and project management system.
