Job Description

Senior Software Engineer with the following duties:

1.  Create, modify and test web front-end, back-end Web-based applications using Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

2.  Create interactive UI experiences using jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, REST API, SCSS, Less or other CSS preprocessors.

3.  Create clean and organized HTML and CSS code from the provided creative designs.

4.  Implement responsive web designs with or without bootstrap libraries using grid layouts, media queries and other techniques.

5.  Implement JavaScript code for marketing tags and analytics. Use JavaScript REST API to display product recommendation and personalization on website.

6.  Implement Web standards (W3C) and best practices for SEO, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & web services (accessibility, 508/WCAG compliance, performance optimization, SEO).

7.  Work on integration of third-party systems with Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

8.  Assist in the conceptual and technical design of the Ecommerce solution.

9.  Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to software/web applications.

10. Work/Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams as needed to deliver tasks/projects.

11. Perform code reviews, to minimize security and system performance related issues.



Educational Requirements: Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field

Work experience requirements: 2 years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of Software Engineer, or a related occupation.


Skill set requirements: 2 years in the following skill set:

1.  Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

2.  Third Party Integrations

3.  Webservices (SOAP/REST)


5.  JavaScript, jQuery

6.  Bootstrap

Job is currently located in Cranbury NJ. There is a possibility of relocation to either Pittsburgh, PA or other unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. The position is 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Please send resume to:
