Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer with the following duties:

1. Design and develop microservices utilizing event-driven and serverless architecture on AWS and Azure cloud platforms using Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
2. Work closely with product management to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable SaaS products while ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance regulations.
3. Development of microservices with Azure Kubernetes Service and AWS ECS for high availability.
4. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development and delivery lifecycle.
5. Incorporate code quality with Test Driven development and e2e automation.
6. Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
7. Coordinate tasks and deliverables across different teams and time zones.

Requirements:

Education requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

Work experience requirements: The position requires a bachelor's degree (will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on educational equivalency evaluation prepared by a qualified evaluation service or in accordance with 8 CFR 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D) in Computer Science or a related field. Additionally, the position requires at least 18 months experience as a Software Engineer.

Job site:

The position is currently located in Pittsburgh, PA, but may require medium to long term relocation to Cranbury NJ, or other unanticipated locations in the U.S.

The position is 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
