D365 Presales Solution Architect

Visionet is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Digital Transformations Presales Solution Architect who not only excels in technical and presales activities but also stands out in meetings and presentations. The ideal candidate will possess unparalleled organizational and time-management skills, along with a genuine, trustworthy demeanor. You'll lead presales engagements, primarily focusing on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Visionet’s proprietary solutions. You will engage closely with prospective clients and internal teams to drive business transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Business Development:

• Develop and nurture sales pipelines from initial engagement to contract signing.
• Work closely with sales, competencies, and product teams to drive pursuits.
• Prepare solution proposals, transformation roadmaps, and clearly define value propositions.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT and Business leaders/SMEs at prospective client organizations.
• Act as a trusted partner and advisor during client meetings and presentations.
• Drive exceptional client meetings, adept at leading conversations, addressing challenges, and articulating the solution’s value proposition.
• Work with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies and create content.
• Leverage persuasive communication and public speaking skills in marketing efforts.

 

Technical & Solution Expertise:

• Lead the design and architecture of digital transformation solutions, specifically focusing on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Coordinate with the assigned support team to conduct Dynamics 365 solution demonstrations.
• Tailor Visionet’s project implementation methodology to fit client needs.
• Provide support during project kick-offs and facilitate the transition to the project delivery team post-contract.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in collaborative research to establish Visionet as a leading service provider.
• Maintain deep industry knowledge to act as a Subject Matter Expert during client pursuits.
• Thrive in challenging, high-stakes business situations, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules including procurement, sourcing, sales orders, inventory, and warehousing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to come across as genuine, trustworthy, and an expert in client and internal meetings.
• Highly goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding objectives.
• Proven ability to perform well in challenging and high-pressure situations.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives.
• Track record of engagement (delivery or presales) with $1B plus revenue customers/ prospects.

 

Candidates with following skills and competencies will be preferred:

• Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, DevOps, JIRA
• Familiarity with data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for data-driven decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in supply chain management, such as Just In Time (JIT), LEAN, or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems other than Dynamics 365, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) software to enhance client engagement and retention.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Adept at financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis for project justification.
• Experience with common integration technologies and approaches such as APIs, ESB, ETL.
• Track record of delivery or presales for global rollouts across multiple workloads for supply & demand planning, sales, purchase and distribution operations, manufacturing.

 

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing supply chain solutions, including at least 5 years of specialized focus on Dynamics 365.
• Preferred certifications include CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, SCOR-P, Six Sigma, APICS, CSCMP, PMP.
