Visionet completely revamped Mattress Firm’s BI platform, deployed a sales forecasting and demand planning solution powered by machine learning, built in-store customer experience apps, and enhanced their financial tools.
Challenges
Mattress Firm is America’s largest specialty mattress and bedding retailer with over 3,500 company-operated and franchised stores across 49 states. They aimed to differentiate their brand by creating a unique customer experience with a large selection of high-quality bedding products, competitive pricing, and knowledgeable, well-trained sales associates. They needed a scalable solution that would help them increase traffic, conversion, and operational visibility, and deliver a consistent brand experience, both online and offline.
Solution
To optimize Mattress Firm’s retail and eCommerce operations, Visionet enabled omnichannel retail using CommerceLink, our intelligent integration solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. We also designed and deployed a brand-new eCommerce website while enhancing their existing Salesforce Commerce Cloud websites. We helped Mattress Firm launch multiple cross-channel features, including quote, wish list, available to promise, and buy online, pick up in-store (BOPIS), and assisted in the launch of additional brands using a master architecture that ensured rapid time to market.
