Advisory Software Engineer
Apply NowAdvisory Software Engineer with the following duties:
1. Develop interfaces, micro-services, and other technical constructs to support the integration platform and customer needs through the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-go-live project phases, including adherence to change management procedures and security protocols
2. Build integration data maps for X12 and EDIFact standards
3. Review and ensure application architecture, design, and implementation are consistent with technology strategy and software standards
4. Analyze legacy applications' technical design and source code, develop strategy solutions for migration to the cloud, and assist teams during validation
5. Work with the technical teams to translate business requirements into functional requirements and assist project managers during the planning, implementation, and rollout of complex and large systems into production.
6. Conduct code reviews to enhance scalability, readability, and ensure compliance
7. Communicate with all stakeholders during the project development lifecycle and produce required artifacts such as technical specifications, status reports, release documents, etc.
8. Act as liaison with the onshore and offshore development teams and co-ordinate with the development activities.
Requirements:
Educational requirements: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related.
2+ years of experience in Advisory Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Principal Consultant Product Development, Senior Consultant Product Development, Consultant Product Development or related.
Skill set requirements:
- Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, LINQ
- REST APIs, WCF Services
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Git and Azure DevOps

Job Site:
Job is currently located in Pittsburgh, PA. There is a possibility of medium to long-term relocating to our head office located at Cranbury, NJ, once or twice a year or other unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. only to support client request or any requirement, if needed.
