Sr. Software Engineer

Sr. Software Engineer with the following duties:

1.    Create and maintain scalable data pipelines and structures to facilitate data processing and analysis across on-premise and cloud platforms that include Google & Microsoft Azure cloud with integration tools including Informatica Power Center, Azure Data Factory, dbt, and SSIS. Participate in development and testing efforts with PL/SQL and Python scripting.

2.     Proficient in creating complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Synonyms, Materialized Views, and Partition Tables using PL/SQL in SQL Server/Azure SQL Database, Big query, and Postgres.

3.  Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data insights using Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, and Google Data Studio/Looker. Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data and provide recommendations based on data analysis to drive business improvements.

4.     Work with Customers’ project managers to prioritize and plan work assignments.

5.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve decision-making, design data-driven solutions, and meet expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

6.     Provide production support for system stability and implement change management to ensure smooth project delivery with minimal disruption.

7.     Effectively respond to escalations, resolve issues promptly, address root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to prevent future occurrences.

8.    Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and evaluate QA artifacts to meet the functional, performance, and quality requirements.

Requirements:

Educational requirements: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related.

2years of experience in Sr. Software Engineer, Advisory Software Engineer, Managing Consultant, Sr. Managing Consultant or related.

2years of experience in Skill set requirements:

• Azure Data Factory,
• Informatica Power Center,
• Google Bigquery
• Power BI,
• Tableau,
• MicroStrategy

Job Site:

The position is currently located in Cranbury, NJ, but may require medium to long-term relocation to either Pittsburgh, PA or other unanticipated locations in the US. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
