Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Validate application quality through rigorous functional and technical testing, ensuring deliverables align with system requirements, architectural design, and established QA standards.
Analyze Epics, User Stories, and requirement artifacts (RS, FS) to identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases, providing actionable feedback that improves clarity, traceability, and testability.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test specifications aligned with complex business logic, system integrations, and data flows.
Create and maintain high quality test data supporting functional, negative, boundary, and end to end validation across multiple environments.
Execute regression, integration, system, and API testing for web based applications, including automation and performance validation where applicable.
Perform defect analysis, root cause investigation, and release readiness validation, producing precise documentation, verifying fixes, and validating deployment stability across environments.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Scrum framework, including roles, ceremonies, artifacts, and the Definition of Done, with practical application in iterative product delivery.
Requirements:
Educational requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related.
2+ years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, Managing Consultant Quality Assurance, Principal QA Engineer, or a related field.
2 years in the following skill set:
JMeter, Postman, Scrum Framework, SQL Server, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, Figma, MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)

The position is currently located in Pittsburgh, PA but may require medium to long-term relocation to any other unanticipated locations in the US.
