Solution Architect
Apply NowSolution Architect with the following duties:
1. Conduct discovery workshops; gather, document and analyze the business vertical knowledge and functional requirements.
2. Design complex application architectures with desired level of performance and availability requirements for seamless integration between critical business systems.
3. Enforce best design and implementation practices to deliver enterprise integrations ranging across multiple channels, message formats and delivery SLAs.
4. Review legacy architectures and applications and develop modernization strategies along with a roadmap for technical debt reduction.
5. Implement system, network, and integration architectures for scalable and secure solutions along with a plan for disaster recovery (DR)
6. Prepare solution feasibility reports through comparative analysis of features and delivery/operational cost and assist clients in making the best decision.
7. Participate in functional and performance testing by providing guidance on technology components and scalability options to support optimal workloads.
8. Support penetration testing and security patching, design and implement solution governance policies to ensure maximum business continuity and compliance.
9. Collaborate with all stakeholders including innovation, BA, EA, QA, PMO, development and other teams during project lifecycle, and produce required artifacts such as technical specifications, code review reports, status updates, and release documents
10. Develop and govern continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) strategy and pipelines using DevOps tools while embracing agile methodologies.
Requirements:
Educational requirements: Bachelor of Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Work experience: 2 yrs of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of AVP Digital Automation Services, Consultant Software Engineer, Senior Advisory Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
2 years of experience in following skill sets:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), MQ, API Connect (APIC), DataPower Gateway
- IBM BAW, ODM, Java, Kafka, Jenkins, Oracle DBMS
- AWS Cloud, RedHat OpenShift Containers Platform (RHOCP)
- MS Visio, JIRA and Confluence, MS Project

The position is currently located in Cranbury, NJ, but may require medium to long-term relocation to either New York, NY or other unanticipated locations in the US.
