Software Engineer

- Design, develop, implement, integrate, and support large-scale business applications using MS .NET, C#, Angular, MS SQL Server, Azure-based services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and related services.
- Design and implement scalable system components based on object-oriented principles, background processing, micro-apps models, hybrid environments, and strong security practices.
- Develop and maintain high-volume databases supporting large-scale transactional workloads, scaling across multiple servers and optimized for heavy workloads and complex processing.
- Create and maintain data transformation mappings using Altova MapForce for EDI and system-to-system integrations.
- Prepare technical design documents and support project planning, effort estimation, and delivery scheduling.
- Collaborate with business teams and project managers to gather requirements, set priorities.
- Provide status updates and delivery status with project managers and leadership.
- Collaborate with offshore development teams on assigned development tasks.
- Perform code reviews, support production systems, develop new features, and manage integration environments.
Requirements:
Educational requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related.
2yrs exp in the offered position in Software Engineer, Managing Consultant Product Development, Principal Consultant Development, Senior Consultant Development, or related field.
2 years in the following skill set:
- MS .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, Cosmos DB, MS SQL Server
- Angular, RESTful and SOAP, GraphQL APIs
- Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Web Jobs, and Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Tables
- Altova MapForce, X12 and EDIFACT specifications
- Git, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
- Agile/Scrum, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel

The position is currently located in Pittsburgh, PA but may require medium to long-term relocation to any other unanticipated locations in the US.
